40 YARD DASH, 5/10/5 & L DRILL
Our timing gates by Vald Performance include an LCD Screen providing players with immediate testing results upon completion of the assessment.
MPH & MAX VELOCITY
In conjunction with Vald Performance timing gates, we measure instantaneous velocity (MPH), Peak Force, Peak Power during the 40-yard dash using the Laser Speed which is a research validated Laser.
BROAD
JUMP
Utilizing tape measures or strips can impact accuracy in measurement of the Broad Jump as they can accidently be displaced due to wind or an individual striking with a foot. We utilize the Gopher Broad Jump Mat which is a premeasured non-skid mat that allows for accurate measurements.
WIND
GAUGE
Environmental factors like wind speed can impact speed assessments like the 40-yard dash. When outdoors, we calculate wind speed using an NCAA and High Approved Wind gauge that measure wind speed in m/s. This provides context on whether a player was running into a head wind or being aided by a tailwind.
